Students Of New Capital School, Asokoro, Visits EFCC

Students of New Capital School, Asokoro, visited the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Academy to be updated on the activities of the Commission and to also know what they could do to join in the ongoing fight against corruption, economic and financial crimes.

Zainab Bello Tifi, who took the visitors round the EFCC facilities, told the children the evil corruption has caused in the Nigeria society and also explained steps they could take to buy into the anti-corruption war

She pointed out some of the effects of corruption include: hunger, lack of education, poverty, child labour, kidnapping, death, violence; adding that it was in an effort to tackle the menace that led to the establishment of the Commission by the former President Olusegun Obasanjo in 2003
