Member of the Senate representing the Anambra North Senatorial District, Senator Stella Oduah, has called on the police to bring the perpetrators of a recent church massacre in Ozubulu town of the state to book.
The senator also condoled with the families of the victims of the attack at St. Philips Catholic Church, Ozubulu, in which 13 persons were killed and many others injured.
She said, “Ozubulu (incident) is certainly beyond my comprehension. It is difficult to make sense out of the narration of the possible reasons for the dastardly act. Whatever the reason may be, it cannot justify the act, which can honestly be described as Godless.
“The House of God was defiled, humanity was desecrated, and the social environment was traumatised.”
She called on security agencies to “fish out the culprits,” but added that the task would be a challenge for them.

“As my heart goes to the families of the victims, it is my prayer that the Almighty (God) will avenge the blood of the innocent,” she added.
